Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Todoora (“Todoora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Eddie John, handles information in connection with the Todoora mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information stored on your device
Almost everything you create in Todoora stays on your device. This includes your to-do items, birthdays, saved contacts and notes, bills, events, travel reservations, attached photos, your account name and email, and your app settings. This information is stored locally using your device’s storage and is not transmitted to us. If you uninstall the App or use “Clear All Data” in Settings, this information is removed from your device.
2. Optional features that send data off your device
- Voice entry and reservation scanning (AI features). When you choose to add an item by voice or scan a reservation screenshot, the relevant audio clip or image is sent to our processing service and to a third-party AI provider (Google Gemini) solely to extract the details and fill in the form for you. This content is processed to provide the feature and is not used to build advertising profiles. We do not retain these clips or images for longer than needed to return the result.
- Subscriptions. Subscription purchases are handled by Apple and by our payment infrastructure provider, RevenueCat. These providers process your purchase and an anonymous identifier to manage your subscription and restore purchases. We never receive or store your full payment card details.
3. Device permissions
Todoora may ask your permission to access certain device features. You can grant or deny each one:
- Contacts — only if you choose to import a contact for a birthday or contact entry.
- Photos / Camera — only if you choose to attach a flyer, reservation, or barcode image.
- Microphone — only if you use the “Add by voice” feature.
- Notifications — only if you enable reminders for events or travel.
The App works without these permissions; the related features simply will not be available.
4. How we use information
We use information only to provide and operate the App’s features — for example, to store and display your entries, deliver the reminders you schedule, complete AI-assisted entry, and manage your subscription. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Service providers
We rely on the following third parties to provide specific features. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies:
- Apple — app distribution and subscription billing.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
- Google (Gemini AI) — processing of voice and image content for AI-assisted entry.
6. Data retention and deletion
Because your content is stored on your device, you control it directly. You can delete individual items at any time, or remove everything using “Clear All Data” in Settings. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data from your device.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the optional features described above. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s privacy
Todoora is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
